Military Spending

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, a Swedish think tank, reported the Colombian government spent $9.19 billion in the military in 2010. The amount has doubled over the last decade from $4.73 billion in 2000.

Imagine that money spent in:

Schools

Hospitals

Roads

Airports

Advertisements
